Mattias Nutt - the new Section President. I earned my first money with photography in Bern in 2010 - during encounters with Bernese cubs and the subsequent publication of my first illustrated book about the first months of these bears.
As a photography autodidact and marketing specialist in tourism, I successfully communicated about my work with social media early on and started my own business in 2014. Today, I photograph events for Switzerland Tourism, lead the official photography team at the WEF annual meeting in Davos or accompany aspirants during their officer school. I travel a lot for SMEs, authorities and organisations. I feel most at home in reportage and event photography with its quiet and loud energies.
Since May 2022, I have been leading the SBF Section East/FL as President and as a service provider to the members. After the corona phase, we now need a strong activation phase. For this, as well as in my association work, I am committed to a broad continuing education programme, to personal contact with members and to improving internal processes. The aim is to offer members inspiring content, but above all practical tools and an exchange of experiences, so that they can act even better in the market as professional photographers. As a practitioner, I am looking for simple and effective solutions that support our voluntary work.
