As with the first volume, which was published 10 years ago, I was also able to accompany this book, Sarganserland 2, from A-Z in terms of photography and design. Food landscapes and portrait photography are always an enrichment to my otherwise strong architectural photography focus. Really emotional and a highlight of this project were - no, not the shots with the new drone - the astrophotographic nocturnal excursions for the panoramic image of the Milchstrasse centre with summit cross. It was stunning and eerie to be out alone in the pitch dark and moonless nights, as a wolf had recently, and not far away, bitten again.

The main focus of the 208-page book is the 113 recipes, all of which were cooked and, with a few exceptions, photographed and then tasted by a team of professional chefs, food stylists and many helpers. This is the fifth book from Sarganserland - touristically marketed as Heidiland - that bears my photographic and creative "signature". The book launch took place on 8 April 2022 in Flums.
