SIYU Award

After exactly 45, at times turbulent, minutes, the vfg Young Photographers' Award, which has been presented annually since 1996, made history and the SIYU Award Association was unanimously founded in Bern. Beat Ernst, SIYU Legal Commission, led through the founding of the association and explained the statutes. The new board was then elected unanimously. It is made up of the following members: Adriano Diethelm, Christoph Kern, Frederik van den Berg and Susanne Martinez Garcia. The founding members are the Romandie, Bern-Mittelland and Zurich-Central Switzerland sections as well as the main association.

The vfg Young Talent Award was an annual competition in which ten projects were awarded and presented in a catalog. The projects were shown at several exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad over the course of the year.
