Photography is in a constant state of flux, which requires continuous education for the photographer. The SIYU sections offer all members exclusive participation in SIYU events and further education, be it software training, technical workshops, legal lectures or positioning workshops.

Photo Basel 2019. Die Photo Basel ist die erste und einzige Kunstmesse der Schweiz, die der Kunstfotographie gewidmet ist. Sie findet im Rahmen der Art Basel vom 11.6. – 16.6.2019 statt.
Die Photo Basel schreibt: «photo basel brings together galleries from around the world in a unique, authentic setting. For its collectors, visitors or buyers – photo basel is an active platform which fosters the dialog between all actors of the photography community and beyond». Link zur Photo Basel
