SIYU Berne Espace Mittelland

On 2 and 3 May, the section organised a two-day video workshop with Martin Bissig. On the first morning, participants were given an introduction to the right camera settings and how to adapt different cameras, such as action cams and drones, in order to achieve a consistent image when editing.

We learnt about the different image settings for storytelling and received tips on what is important when telling a story. Audio, microphones and lighting were also covered. In the afternoon, we put what we had learnt into practice and filmed some sequences with our own camera, which were later edited together into a short film. Saturday was dedicated to post-production. We were given an introduction to the Davinci programme and got to know the entire workflow.
