The first ordinary SIYU section general meeting was held in Basel on 13 March - with an outstanding turnout.
In addition to the usual agenda items, new members were welcomed and a change to the board was approved in the tower room of the Kaserne: Antonio Mollo, who stepped down, was succeeded by Andreas Krause, whom we were also able to congratulate on his 20 years of membership. Robert Hausmann and Peter Schulthess were re-elected; Peter Schulthess will step down at the SIYU section general meeting 2025 after 12 years on the Board.
Several members spontaneously volunteered to join the Board. Beat Ernst, SIYU Legal Commission in person, was made an honorary member with applause and thanked for his tireless commitment to the creation of our new association. Many thanks also go to Damaris Thalmann, who once again took the minutes. The Basel - Northwestern Switzerland section now has 51 active members. We're on the move!
