On Thursday, 12 September, the pool collective is hosting a screening and networking event in collaboration with the Photoforum at the Prozess Bar in Bern.
The event offers a unique insight into contemporary photography from the perspective of a diverse group of photographers.
It will feature video presentations by 14 contributors from the pool collective as well as the Photoforum's current artist-in-residence. The videos created especially for the event will be developed in the pool collective's tried-and-tested feedback sessions.
The screening offers new perspectives and insights into the creative processes.
The pool collective is a self-organised group of artists dedicated to promoting personally motivated work in the field of photography. The collective emphasises exchange,
networking and visibility and regularly organises activities and events that focus on feedback culture, experimentation and collective learning.
Located in the Pasquart cultural centre in Biel/Bienne, the Photoforum is a dynamic institution dedicated to photography. It supports emerging Swiss and international photographers through a lively programme of exhibitions and events.
The Photoforum aims to promote visual literacy and make photography accessible to a wide audience.
The event is free and open to the public.
