Joy reigns - starting signal for the SIYU AWARD 2025 The starting signal for the SIYU AWARD 2025 has finally been given and works can be submitted since 1 February. This new award, which is rich in history and stories, continues the tradition of the vfg Young Talent Award for Photography, which was awarded by vfg until 2022. The SIYU AWARD is also intended to give up-and-coming photography talent a platform to showcase their skills.

Ten works will make it to the final, and the jury will also honour the best work with the CHF 3000 SIYU AWARD 2025. Thanks to the merger, the strong support of the SIYU Association and its sections as well as other supporters, all the conditions were met in 2025 for the new start. 

Who is eligible to take part? The competition is aimed at photographers from Switzerland and anyone living here at the time of submission. Entries can be submitted until the end of April 2025.
