Alpha 7R V. On 26 October, Sony unveiled the new Alpha 7R V, the latest 7R-series camera in the renowned Alpha range of mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras.
The camera combines Sony's highest resolution image sensor with a new AI processing engine for AI-based image recognition - a first in an Alpha camera - and the powerful BIONZ XR image processing engine - a first in the 'R' full-frame range. The combination of the high-resolution sensor and these processors enables a new breakthrough in scene recognition and capture for both stills with 61.0 megapixel image resolution and video through 8K video output. It features the most effective 8-stage image stabilisation of any Sony Alpha camera to date.
