Flying and photographing with drones. The fully booked drone event on 19 August in Oberwil was a complete success with 12 participants. We found a filming drone pilot in Andreas Krause and an experienced drone pilot in Dani Altermatt. In two hours, they gave us an understanding of the requirements and the technology of filming and taking photos using camera-equipped drones.
After the one-hour theoretical part in Antonio Mollo's Studio71, we experienced the drones in action on the hill near Oberwil grammar school. Several drones were on site and we were able to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the models. We concluded the drone evening with a lively discussion over dinner.
