Ethics in photography
The panel discussion as part of the Swiss Photomonth will be moderated by journalist Lydia Gabor and offers an enriching exchange on current ethical issues in photography, between art and social commitment. Speakers are:
Cornelia Hummel, professor at the University of Geneva, on power structures and ethical challenges in photography. Virginie Rebetez, visual artist, on the ethics of artistic photography, in particular the issue of disappearance. Klaus Petrus, documentary photographer, on ethical responsibility in the portrayal of migrants and minorities.
