In November, new categories were added in the architecture section for the member portfolios on the SBF website. This step became necessary because some changes had previously been made to the portfolio display with the aim of improving clarity, but resulted in only one album being displayed for architectural photographers, for example, depending on the category.
In general: Distribute your albums over several categories for a better performance of your portfolio. Now, when creating a new album - as well as when changing an existing one - you can additionally select the following categories:
Architecture - Industrial Buildings (factory buildings, commercial buildings, power plants)Architecture - Cultural Buildings (sacral buildings such as churches, monasteries; historical defensive buildings such as castles, fortresses and museums)Architecture - Public Buildings (schools, universities, hospitals, railway stations, administrative buildings, prisons - buildings used by the federal government, canton or municipalities, stadiums and sports facilities)Architecture - Residential Buildings (goes without saying) The former category "Cityscape" has been renamed "Urbanism".
